Patrick Vieira has insisted he did not deserve to be left out of the France squad for the upcoming two-legged World Cup play-off with Ireland
French coach, Raymond Domenech, cited the lack of match time behind the decision to drop the player.
The midfielder has made only nine appearance this season and is believed to be seeking a move in January.
