Genoa coach Gian Piero Gasperini has played down the club's interest in signing Ghana midfielder Kevin-Prince Boateng from Portsmouth.
Boateng was attracting interest from the Serie A club following his exploits at the World Cup finals and Genoa were considering signing the midfielder in a co-ownership deal with Lazio.
However, Gasperini has cooled on the issue, and was equally coy when questioned about his interest in Sporting midfielder Miguel Veloso.
