Barcelona winger Alexis Sanchez could be facing up to two months on the sidelines due to an injury sustained during Saturday evening's Primera Division match at Real Sociedad.
Alexis, a big-money arrival from Udinese this summer, was stretchered off during the first half of the 2-2 draw in San Sebastian with what has been diagnosed as a torn muscle in the back of his right leg.
The initial prognosis is that Alexis will be out for between six and eight weeks, although the Chile international will undergo more tests on Sunday to determine exactly how long he will be absent for, according to the Barca website.
