Arsenal could be without Theo Walcott for a month after suffering knee ligament damage against Birmingham City. The English player had just return from a back injury.
Tomas Rosicky will miss Tuesday night's Champions League meeting with AZ Alkmaar, while Nicklas Bendtner, Denilson, Eduardo, Lukasz Fabianski and Johan Djourou are still out.
