EPL - Gudjonsson suspended after Laws attack

Burnley midfielder Joey Gudjonsson has been suspended for two weeks following his outspoken comments on manager Brian Laws last week.

Gudjonsson launched a scathing attack on the Clarets' beleaguered boss, claiming he had lost the dressing room. Laws responded by masterminding a 4-1 victory at Hull, the club's first away win of the season, which kept hopes of Premier League survival alive.

The Iceland international, who has played just 18 minutes of Premier League football since Laws took charge at Turf Moor, is clearly angered at being left out in the cold.
