Serie A - Leonardo refuses to be drawn on his future

AC Milan coach Leonardo is remaining tight-lipped on whether or not he will remain at the club next season.

There is media speculation in Italy that Leonardo could return to his native Brazil this summer. Last week Milan had to deny reports that he had already left the club, and it seems unlikely he will still be in charge next season.

Milan suffered another setback at the weekend when losing 2-1 at Sampdoria, a result which leaves them in third place and seven points behind Serie A leaders AS Roma, destined for a trophyless season.

AC Milan vice-president Adriano Galliani hopes Leonardo, who is under contract for a further year with the Rossoneri, will remain. However, he said that should Leonardo leave, it would be down to personal issues.
