Primera - Clemente takes over at Valladolid

Former Spain boss Javier Clemente has been confirmed as the new coach of Primera Liga strugglers Real Valladolid.

The experienced Clemente has been appointed until the end of the season and replaces Onesimo, who was sacked on Monday. The 60-year-old will take charge of the team for the first time in Saturday's clash at fellow strugglers Tenerife.

Onesimo only took over from Jose Luis Mendilibar at the start of February but was unable to guide them towards safety, winning just one game.
