Wigan Athletic midfielder Charles N'Zogbia has been arrested and released on bail amid allegations that he attempted to get a friend to take the practical part of his driving test for him.
N'Zogbia, who scored against Arsenal in a 3-2 win at weekend, was arrested at Sale Driving Test Centre, Greater Manchester, on Wednesday morning.
N'Zogbia has recently gained British citizenship after spending five years in the UK - previously playing for Newcastle - and did not comment on the matter, but Wigan boss Roberto Martinez claims he made a ''naive mistake'' which resulted in the incident.
