Porto striker Falcao has said a move to Atletico Madrid would represent a "great opportunity".
Reports in Portugal and Spain suggest Atletico are close to agreeing a deal to bring Falcao to the Vicente Calderon as they seek a replacement for Sergio Aguero.
Espanyol striker Pablo Osvaldo could also be set to join Atletico despite recent links with Roma. "I'm going to Espanyol," he is quoted as saying in AS.
