Arsenal have agreed terms with Manchester City over the transfer of midfielder Samir Nasri and he is set to undergo a medical at the club on Tuesday afternoon.
Nasri had asked to be left out of the squad to face Udinese in the Champions League play-offs as talk of a £25 million move increased and now the Gunners have revealed that a deal is almost done.
The French international, who signed for Arsenal in the summer of 2008 from Marseille for a fee of £15.8 million, had previously rejected a new £90,000-a-week contract to stay at the club and only had one year left on his current deal.
