Wigan signed winger Crusat

Wigan have signed Almeria winger Albert Crusat on an initial two-year deal

The 29-year-old underwent a medical at the DW Stadium on Monday and has now finalised his contract, which has an option for a third year if his stay is a success.

Barcelona-born Crusat, who was capped for Spain at under-16, under-17 and under-18 level, came through the ranks at Espanyol, for whom he made his Primera Division debut before moving on to Lleida and then Almeria.

He scored 11 times in the Andalucian side's first promotion to the top flight in 2007 and has been on target 33 times in 199 games.
