Blackburn manager Steve Kean has confirmed the signing of Simon Vukcevic from Sporting on a three-year contract.
Vukcevic, 25, underwent a medical at Blackburn last week after a fee in the region of £2 million was agreed with Portuguese club Sporting.
The formalities of the deal have now been rubber-stamped and Keane has confirmed the transfer, handing the Scot a boost following a disappointing start to the season.
Rovers have lost their opening two matches of the new campaign, and Kean will hope the addition of Montenegro midfielder Vukcevic will have a positive impact of their results.
