The Glazer family have turned down a £1 billion-plus cash offer to sell Manchester United.
The Glazers are convinced that they can continue to find new ways of maximising the commercial capabilities of what is regarded as the strongest sporting brand in the world.
Unofficial price tag for the club is now an astonishing £1.5 billion.
