Real Madrid general director Jorge Valdano has revealed the club are in talks with Gonzalo Higuain over a new deal which he hopes will keep the striker at the club for the rest of his career.
Higuain, who joined Real from River Plate in January 2007, has now hit 19 goals in what is proving to be an excellent season for Los Merengues.
