Wigan Athletic manager Roberto Martinez could be charged by the Football Association following comments made about referee Stuart Atwell after Monday night's defeat at Manchester City.
Martinez effectively accused the official of lying about the red card handed out to central defender Gary Caldwell. The Latics' boss believes Atwell did not actually see the tackle but still chose to dismiss the player signed from Celtic in the January transfer window.
