EPL - Cudicini signs new one-year Spurs deal

Tottenham Hotspur goalkeeper Carlo Cudicini has signed a one-year contract extension at the club that will keep him at White Hart Lane until the summer of 2011.

Cudicini was signed in January 2009 from Chelsea, where he had been displaced as No.1 by Petr Cech, and made four appearances for Harry Redknapp's side in his first season.

He was expected to challenge first-choice stopper Heurelho Gomes for a starting berth in 2009-10 but, after making seven appearances, his season was curtailed by a horrific motorcycle accident in November of last year.
