Jerome Boateng has completed a reported £11 million move to Manchester City from Hamburg.
City had been tracking Boateng for months, finally sealing a deal which will see the defender officially sign for the Eastlands club on July 1.
Boateng, who is in Germany's squad for the World Cup finals, has penned a contract to run until the end of the 2014-15 season.
Boateng, the brother of Portsmouth midfielder Kevin-Prince, began his career with Hertha Berlin before moving to Hamburg in 2007. He has five full Germany caps.
