Marco Giampaolo has been appointed as the new head coach of Catania.
Giampaolo replaces Sinisa Mihajlovic, who left the Sicilian club last week having guided them to Serie A survival.
The 42-year-old had been out of a job since being dismissed as coach of Siena in October.
Under Mihajlovic, Catania finished 13th in Serie A, 10 points clear of the drop zone. Mihajlovic is set to be unveiled as Fiorentina boss this week.
