Adriano has undergone a medical at Roma and is set to be unveiled as the Giallorossi's latest signing on Wednesday.
The club have called a press conference for 1700 local time. No details of the signing have yet been announced by the club.
The 28-year-old Adriano is a free agent after the expiry of his deal with Flamengo.
He has previous Serie A experience, with his career peaking while he was at Inter Milan, before he suffered from personal problems and returned to his homeland.
