Barcelona youngster Jonathan dos Santos has signed a contract extension with the Spanish champions, tying him to the Nou Camp for a further two years.
Jonathan has progressed through the ranks at Barcelona since joining their youth team in 2002 and made his debut this year. The 20-year-old featured in three league matches, one Champions League game and a Copa del Rey tie.
Jonathan will now remain at the Nou Camp until 2012, while his release clause has also been upped to €30 million. The midfielder was included in Mexico's preliminary squad for the World Cup but was left out of the final 23.
