Avram Grant has been confirmed as the new manager of West Ham, after he signed a four-year contract, subject to being granted a work permit.
Grant will join the club fresh from leading Portsmouth to the FA Cup final and will replace Gianfranco Zola, who was sacked at the end of the season.
