EPL - Senderos signs for Fulham

Fulham have announced the signing of Swiss defender Philippe Senderos on a three-year deal from Arsenal.

Senderos, 25, was one of Arsenal's longest serving players having joined the club from Servette in June 2003 but was unable to secure a regular first-team place in recent seasons.

He spent the 2008-09 campaign on loan at AC Milan and also made three appearances during a five-month stay at Everton last season as he failed to make an impression under David Moyes.

Senderos famously started the 2005 FA Cup final ahead of Sol Campbell as Arsenal defeated Manchester United on penalties but having been unable to deliver on that early promise at Emirates Stadium, he is now looking forward to a fresh start at Craven Cottage.
